Critical Resistance is a grassroots organization founded by Angela Davis, Rose Braz & Ruth Wilson Gilmore (amongst others). C.R. is aimed at challenging & abolishing the Prison Industrial Complex. C.R. is a movement encouraging members of all communities to reduce, reduce, reduce. Reduce the prison population. Reduce the number of prison buildings. Reduce our reliance on prisons and policing.
